Who we are

RadialDeck is made and sold by Stefan Kasamakov, Sofia, Bulgaria, who is the controller of the personal data described below. Contact: [email protected].

What RadialDeck collects

Nothing about you. The application has no telemetry, no crash reporting, no analytics and no accounts.

It makes two kinds of network request. The first is an optional update check: every few hours it asks radialdeck.com, which passes the question on to GitHub Releases, for the latest version number. When there is a newer one, the version installed from radialdeck.com downloads the installer from GitHub quietly by default and installs it the next time RadialDeck starts (or when you quit it); untick "Install automatically" in Settings to be asked first. The Microsoft Store version makes no update check: the Store updates it. The request carries the application name and version and, on the first check of each day, a flag saying so; it carries no identifier. radialdeck.com counts these checks per day, to know how many installations are in use, and keeps nothing else: no IP address, no identifier, nothing about your computer. If radialdeck.com does not answer, the application asks GitHub Releases directly. GitHub's own privacy statement applies to the download. You can turn the check off in Settings ("Check for updates"); the app then makes no network requests at all.

The second happens only if you have entered a subscription key: once a day the application asks radialdeck.com about that key, sending the key’s random id and nothing else (no name, no e-mail, no information about your computer). The answer is today’s date, a renewed key when your subscription has renewed, and whether the payment was refunded. If radialdeck.com cannot be reached, the key keeps working offline for up to 60 days, after which Pro waits for the next successful check. A perpetual key, the free version and the trial never make this request.

What stays on your computer

  • %APPDATA%\RadialDeck\config.json: your rings and actions. Yours to edit, export or delete.
  • %APPDATA%\RadialDeck\license.json: your licence key and the date of your first run (for the trial). Verified locally.
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RadialDeck: a copy of the trial start date (value t), so the trial is not restarted by deleting license.json, and a few flags for the tips you have already seen.
  • %APPDATA%\RadialDeck\debug.log: lifecycle events and errors. It never contains keystrokes or clipboard contents.

The clipboard history ring

One optional slice type opens a ring of the last few things you copied, so you can paste an earlier one. It is off unless you add that slice to a ring yourself, and only then does RadialDeck ask Windows to tell it when the clipboard changes.

Those entries live in the application's memory and nowhere else. They are never written to config.json, never written to the log, never sent anywhere, and they are gone the moment RadialDeck closes or you remove the slice. What you copy while the feature is off is not seen at all.

What your recipes may do

A recipe is an action you chose: opening a URL, running a command, pasting text. Those actions behave like anything else you run on your PC; for example "Ask ChatGPT about the copied text" opens chatgpt.com with that text in your browser. RadialDeck itself does not transmit it.

Reporting a problem

"Report a problem" in the tray menu opens an e-mail in your own mail program and shows you debug.log. Nothing is sent unless you send that e-mail yourself, and you can read the log before attaching it.

The website

radialdeck.com counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It records which page was opened, the site you came from, your country and the kind of browser and device, and shows them to us only as totals. Your IP address is not kept and you are not followed from one site to another. Clicks on Download, on the Microsoft Store buttons and on Get Pro pass through radialdeck.com, which adds one to a count for that day and keeps nothing else about the click (no IP address, no cookie, no identifier).

If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, e-mail address, the topic you chose, your message and the IP address it came from (used only to limit each sender to five messages an hour). The message is forwarded to our mailbox through Cloudflare Email Routing and a copy is kept on Cloudflare for 90 days, then deleted automatically. We use it only to answer you.

Purchases

Pro and Team licences are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record and processes your payment details, address and VAT information under its own privacy policy. We never see your card.

From each order we receive your name and e-mail address and keep them together with the licence key issued to you. We use them to deliver the key (it is e-mailed to the address on the order through Resend, our e-mail processor), to send it to you again if you lose it, to handle refunds and to answer your support e-mails. We do not use them for marketing and we do not sell or share them.

  • Legal basis: performing the contract you entered into by buying a licence (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • How long: for as long as your licence exists, so a lost key can always be re-sent. Ask us to delete them at any time; the key itself keeps working.
  • Your rights: you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable form. Write to the address below.
  • Complaints: you can complain to the Bulgarian data protection authority, the Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg), or to the authority in your own EU country.
